Kansas City









Kansas City, usually abbreviated as KCK, is ranked third in terms of size as compared to all the cities in the state of Kansas. It forms part of the consolidated city-county government, the Unified Government. It has a population of more than 145,786 residents as indicated by the census conducted in 2010. The city is located at the junction of the Kansas Rivers and the Missouri.







The Kansas City Chief football Club has established a Hall of Fame and it is open to public.  (entrance fee: $10/person)






National World War I Memorial and Museum

The Kansas City has a mix of both new and old, city and prairie. It is at times referred to as the ‘City of Fountains’ coined from the many outdoor features that it has. The main and most popular type of music in the city is jazz.

  1. Crayola! Oh! My daughter would love to go there, I'm sure. :) Also, loved the waterfall courtyard. How lovely. I didn't realize there were so many amazing things to see in Kansas City. We'll have to put this on our must see list.

    I've visited Kansas City a few times since my brother and his wife moved there. And, it's a really nice place. Not like the beach cities but still a very cool place to be.
