Overview of Miami
Miami is a city located in southeastern Florida. It has a population of 420 thousands and is ranked as the 42nd largest city proper in the United States. The city is among the leaders in finance, commerce, media, entertainment, arts and international trade. It is also important to note that the city was ranked as ‘America’s Cleanest City’ by Forbes Magazine in 2008. This was because the city enjoyed an all round cleanliness ranging from its good air quality, clean drinking water, vast green spaces, ever clean streets to the city’s recycling programs. The city hosts many international banks and has the largest concentration of such banks in the United States. The port of Miami has been the number one cruise passenger port in the world for the past two decades.

This is the oldest zoo in Florida. It houses over 1,200 wild animals. The climate here is conducive to host animals from different parts of the world.
How to get there
Miami International Airport is to the west of the city and it gives visitors a good landing place in Miami. Alternatively, you can use train from New York City, Washington, DC and other cities lying in the eastern seaboard.
