Such amazing works of art! And, I'm sure far more spectacular in person. I can only imagine what it would have been like to see Sistine Chapel and Mona Lisa up close. :)
What an amazing sight that must have been.

The Louvre is such a phenomenal museum; really a work of art itself! Those columns are just so majestic. And, the art work is beyond compare. I don't know how they got so many amazing works into one spot, but it's for our benefit. Lovely surroundings too. I was just amazed at that gorgeous crystal blue sky. Such a perfect backdrop for this location. I bet you had fun here.

  3. There is plenty to see in this large museum so allocate at least half a day if you want to get round all of it. There is a lot of walking and steps to get through if you do the full museum. Decent price but as with all top attractions, it gets very busy so go early or late to avoid the queues.

The Louvre palace is one of the most beautiful and decadent that I have ever seen, with all that gold on the walls. I'm sure the royalty really enjoyed their life there. And, who wouldn't, that place is just beautiful. :)
