La Paz Waterfall Gardens, Costa Rica

La Paz Waterfall Gardens is located near Parque Nacional Volcan Poas, one hour drive from San Jose Airport.  You can explore 5 Magificent Waterfalls accessed by paved trails through Rain and Cloud Forest, as well as jungle animals, birds and the gardens.  This is the best place to start your adventures in Costa Rica.

While you can get similar (or better) meal with tamarind drink for less than 1000 Colones ($2USD) at Sodas (family owned small restaurants) everywhere in Costa Rica, this $14 lunch is very very expensive, but it's convenient.

Admission = 214,000 Colones or $40 for Foreigners.  Half price for residents.
