Hurricane Ridge

Hurricane Ridge is the best and the most easily access mountain area for auto tours on Hurricane Ridge Road at Olympic National Park.

Hurricane Ridge Road is the 17 mile stretch of the fun winding road through dense forests and alpine ice-covered peak.

End of Hurricane Ridge Road is the ski area.

Lake Crescent

Lake Crescent is the second deepest lake in Washington, located on Olympic Highway (US 101) in Olympic National Park.

Unfortunately, when the sky is not blue, the water isn't blue (this lake is famous for blue color in summer time).  It was pouring the whole day yesterday.  It's supposed to rain heavily for the rest of the week, but today.  People said I brought the sunshine from California.  I didn't clearly see the sunshine but at least no heavy rain.

Olympic National Park

Olympic National Park is a national park in the United States. It is situated on the Olympic Peninsula, in the Washington state. The National Park includes four fundamental regions: the West side temperate rainforest, alpine areas, the Pacific coastline, and the forests of the drier east side.

On March 2nd, 1909, U.S. President Theodore Roosevelt  made Mount  Olympus National Monument. On June 29,1938 President Franklin Roosevelt designated the National Monument as a National Park. The Park designated as an International Biosphere Reserve in the year of 1976, and it became a part of  World Heritage Site in 1981.

Driving from my Hotel (near SEA) to Olympic NP:

Tacoma Narrows Bridge
This is the one.  The original bridge twisted under 40mph winds and collapsed in 1940, 4 months after it opened.  Engineering Disasters!

Strong winds alert

Of course I made it.  The winds couldn't stop me. ;)

The Olympic national park is located in the state of Washington on the Olympic peninsula.

Cute Quackies near Lake Crescent

It has some of the best of all worlds because there are coastlines and forests too.

The scenery inside of these forests can make you feel like you are in a scene from the lord of the rings.

I came to see what nature has to offer!

Hiking Trails to Marymere Falls (No, I didn't hike alone all the way to Marymere Falls)

There is so much beauty that you could spend all day just looking around.  Lake Crescent is the perfect place to relax.  You will never forget your trip to his gorgeous location.

Heavy Traffic before crossing Hood Canal Floating Bridge

Hood Canal Floating Bridge is the longest floating bridge in the world (about 8000 feet long)
