The another name of the museum hidden by the green desert oasis is - the Death Valley Ranch. It is much more memorable than it's original name.
It is a fancy historically charged dream getaway. Historically it is connected to the '20s and '30s with all the necessary features to completely satisfy that 'genre'.
Stepping into it was like stepping back in the time.It seems that Walter Scott, a dreamer who built it was so in love with this place that he practically built his own dream land. Tours include a visit to the house, basements and tunnels and at the end the lower vine hike.
Scotty's Castle is located in Grapevine Canyon, at Death Valley National Park.
