Level Up!


I'm in Pre-Masters lessons starting this month.  I guess I am a bit closer to reach my swimming goal!

I started the beginner level on 01OCT13.  Before that, I had never been under water intentionally.
After 5 lessons, I was able to swim the entire lap without stopping in the middle.  As of today 01NOV13, I can swim up to 100 yards non-stop.


Today I signed up for auto-share via twitterfeed to share blog posts in social networks.  Hope it is not too annoying to family and friends.

Finally, I re-enable comment sections.  I need to approve each comment before publishing though..

New Fitness Workouts::
Swimming Workout: 2 x 50 warmup + 2  x 25 freestyle + 2 x 25 butterfly + 2 x 50 freestyle + 2 x 100 free style  = 500 yards.
Push-Ups and Curl-Ups: Haven't done in a while.  It only takes a few minutes so why not start now?

Running and Hiking
11/1 Hiked at Pichetti Ranch


Day 43: 9:50min/mile.  Just broke my old running record for average pace!  My best running pace for the first mile is 9:23 min on Day 22.
11/3 Hiked at Sweeney Ridge


Day 44

Swimming Workout: 50 warmup + 2  x 50 freestyle + 100 dolphin kick 100 freestyle + 150 freestyle = 500 yards.

11/8 Hiked at Wunderlich


Day 45: Broke my old running record today.  18:28 for 2 miles, a tiny bit closer to reach my running goal (15 min for 2 miles)
The best 1 mile pace - 9:01 minute.  The best average pace - 9:11 min/mile.
