Petrified Forest

Petrified Forest National Park is located in Arizona, established 9th of December 1962 and it spreads on the 135,000 acres.

Rainbow Forest

It mainly comes from the tall conifers which grew there 200 million years ago and can give us a glimpse into an environment of those ancient times.
You can go and visit any time of the year; spring winds can be high, summer storms are also common, winter is mild and fall also.
Crystal Forest

In the past the petrified wood was hauled away in the wagons to be sold but as it was established into a national park it is against the law to take any memorabilia from it. Also, Rangers may require you to stop your vehicle for the inspection.  Did you bring any wood?

Very exhausting day.  I drove here from Flagstaff, and now I am driving back to Vegas which is about 400 miles away.
